We proudly announce the Alpine Linux Persistence and Storage Summit (ALPSS) 2018!

The goal of this conference is to discuss the hot topics in Linux storage and file systems, such as persistent memory, NVMe, multi-pathing, raw or open channel flash and I/O scheduling in a cool and relaxed setting with spectacular views in the Austrian alps.

We plan to have a small selection of short and to the point talks, and lots of room for discussion in small groups, as well as ample downtime to enjoy the surrounding.

We will be meeting around 2pm on Tuesday at the Innsbruck main station and then board the transport which will bring us to the start of our hike up to the lodge.

Wednesday and Thursday will be conferencing days. On Friday morning we plan to descend and be in Innsbruck mid-day.

Any flight arriving at Innsbruck Airport before 1pm and any train arriving in Innsbruck Central Station before 2pm on Tuesday should be good to meet our normal schedule. On the way back any train leaving after 1:30pm or flight leaving after 2:30pm from Innsbruck Airport will be perfectly fine. If you can't make this schedule please contact the organizers and we will try to accomodate you.
